Morris K42EP is a premium lithium multipurpose grease designed for anti-friction and plain bearings operating under heavy shock loads and vibration. They are widely used in both industrial machinery and automotive applications.

They offer strong extreme-pressure and anti-wear performance, high corrosion protection, and are suitable for heavy-duty use. Typical applications include automotive wheel bearings, chassis lubrication, and construction/mining equipment such as bulldozers, scrapers, loading shovels and off-highway trucks. They can be applied by grease gun or through centralised lubrication systems appropriate to the NLGI grade. For heavy-duty trucks, coaches and buses, K2EP is the preferred option.

Before first use, compatibility with existing grease should be checked and purging carried out if needed. Over-lubrication should be avoided by following manufacturer recommendations.

Performance levels include DIN 51502 KP1N-20/KP2N-20/KP3N-20 and ISO 6743-9 L-XBDHB1/2/3. Physical characteristics include NLGI grades 1, 2 and 3, lithium thickener, 180 cSt base oil viscosity at 40°C, 185°C dropping point, low oil separation, excellent corrosion resistance (EMCOR 0:0), strong load performance (Four Ball weld load 315 kg, Timken OK 50 lb), and an operating temperature range of –20°C to +140°C.
