Figure 20-32 Standard Pattern
A Gunmetal (Material : BS 1400-LG2C) water level gauge cock made for steam working pressures up to 250 lbs/in2 (17.2 Bar) and temperatures up to 500°F (260°C). These gauges are fitted with sleeves that can be adjusted by means of packing nuts as wear neccessitates and provide easy and efficient maintenance.
An automatic safety ball check is fitted as stanard in the water arm. This device prevents the sudden escape of water in the event of gauge glass breakage. We can fit a similar device in the steam arm if required.
