Traditional Fig 19 Motor Waggon Fusible Plug

Fitted in the vertical side of firevox of motor waggons and similar boilers not provided with a crown plate.

Screwed in from the water side and in a horizontal position.

This plug has an integral protective button to prevent any wasting of the low melting point alloy which when fuses is ejected by the steam pressure.
