Tube Brushes
NEW FOR 2007 - BRASS
We stock a large range of tube brushes, both wire and natural fibre. The traditional bristle brush is not available
today as the quality of the bristle is too fine to act as a good sweeping brush. The natural fibre brushes that we
recommend are made from COCO fibre, similar to the material used on domestic door matting. Wire are suitable for brushing the
scale off the inside of the tubes, whereas the coco fibre are ideal for general sweeping.
All brushes
are Standard 6 inch single spiral fitted with a 1/2" BSW male thread.
Non standard sizes can be made to
order ~ Please ask for any specific requirement.
Tube Brushes are available as standard in Wire, Coco Fibre and Brass. Special sizes can be orderd and made to size.
Stainless steel and nylon are also available to order. Please call for details on our extensive range of tube and flue brushes for
all industrial applications.

Tube Brush Rods
We produce tube brush rods or handle kits.
Our rods are made with the correct traditional handle grip and are made from 1/2"
diameter rod.
Standard rod lengths:
6ft (Traction Engine) with a 1/2" BSW female socket.
8ft rods, suitable for most Road Rollers, with a 1/2" BSW female socket.
Handle kits: For those
enthuasists that require a longer tube rod, we supply the ready made handle, approximately 6" long with a 1/2" BSW male socket, together with an additional
1/2" BSW socket. This allows you to obtain any length of 1/2" rod and thread this at either end, to take at one end the pre-formed handle and at the
other the 1/2" BSW male socket for connection of the tube brush. Mainly required for Steam Rollers, which normally need a 9ft road to accomodate the
additional length to go over the front roll.
