All types of Boiler Door Joints.PILOTSEAL, BLUE MAX and TOPOG-E Pilotseal & Blue-Max is available, not only in a large number of stock sizes, but individual sizes to suit many older non standard sizes can be made quickly to order, at no extra cost. Suitable for working pressure up to 180psi, with Blue Max joints being suitable for working pressure up to 450psi.
PTFE and Non Asbestos Packing and SealingProducts. We can recommend the right packing to suit your specific application. Whether it is for use with Stainless Steel or Hard Chromed piston rods or Superheated regulator valves, we understand and have the 'hands on' experience to advice on many of the latest packings which we have successfully trialed ourselves.
Lubrication Product Our aim is to provide all the traditional lubrication consumerables, although we don't sell the oil itself. Worsted Trimmings are a traditional method of wicking oil into bearings. Genuine worsted wool, unwashed and untreated is becoming harder to find. Our Kits include approximately 100 yards of wool, copper wire and full instructions. Vented Corks are NEW to us and have been made specifically for traction engines and small steam plant. Mainly used with Big End Oilers, the tapered corks are vented with reed to allow syphoning to take place. Also NEW are these genuine pattern 2pt oil pourers with sliding lid and 1/2gallon lopsided oil bottles.
Gauge Glasses and Seals. We can supply any length of glass tube, either plain or Red line. In addition, we supply all sizes of reflex glasses and gasket sets and can have these also made to special sizes. Call us with your special size requirements. Protectors, new side and front glasses and complete water gauges can be supplied.
We stock a wide range of tube brushes in Wire, Coco and natural fibre. Coco fibre is what we have chosen to replace the traditional bristle brushes as the coco fibre (same as your average coco fibre door mat) is durable and long lasting. We can make all sizes of tube brushes from 1" upwards, as well as 6 ft standard tube rods and a short handle with 1/2" BSW socket, together with a second socket to enable engine owners to make up their own.
