These shovels are made from heavy gauge plate and are a particular fine quality carbon steel pressing. Each shovel is fitted with a sculptured

All our firing irons and clinker shovel handles are made from either 1/2" or 5/8" round bar and have a jig formed D handle.
(Photo images will follow). The standard of workmanship is excellent and frankly cannot be matched without tooling up for the job. We have a good
demand for a whole range of firing irons in general and all lengths and sizes can be ordered and delivered. Please do not hesitate to ask.

We supply two useful options for
making up different length tube rods
Handle Sets. 6" Handle from 1/2"
bar with 1/2" BSW socket and second 1/2" BSW socket. Just obtain your own length of 1/2" bar, thread and screw and weld the handle to one end and the
spare socket to the other. This is ideal for Steam Rollers where the handle length required is frequently longer than 8ft.
